Why we started
In India, education decisions are rarely made by students alone.
Parents want safety, stability, and future opportunities. Students want a path that fits who they are and what they can grow into. Schools and counsellors are often expected to support both sides, but may not always have enough structured, student-specific evidence to make every conversation easier.
Our first productClario by GeniWay
Clario by GeniWay is a stream-fit and family clarity system for Indian students and parents, designed especially for the Class 10 to Class 11 stream decision.
Clario brings together student self-discovery, aptitude and academic signals, motivation and strengths, study-load awareness, career direction, and parent-readable insights.
The goal is not to predict a child's “perfect career.” The goal is to help families ask better questions, understand trade-offs, and make a more informed decision before committing to Class 11 choices.

Built by a founder shaped by education — and by decades of technology transformation.
Shashank grew up in a remote Indian village with limited access to quality education. His life changed when he was selected to study at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, a residential school for talented students from rural and under-resourced backgrounds.
Over the past 27+ years, he has worked across technology, data, analytics, cloud platforms, and AI with organizations including TCS, Infosys, Accenture, ZS, GE, BP, Daimler, Microsoft, J&J, Novartis, and Roche across India, Europe, the US, UK, and APAC.
Most recently, he was an Associate Principal / Partner at ZS, leading enterprise data platforms, cloud data engineering, and AI-driven insights for global life sciences companies.

From a village classroom to building GeniWay
- Rural beginnings
I grew up in a remote Indian village with poor infrastructure, unreliable electricity, and limited access to quality education.
- The opportunity that changed my path
My life changed when I was selected to study at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. That opportunity — and a few teachers who believed in me — transformed my path.
- The confusion many students still face
Like many Indian students without enough exposure or guidance, my own early choices were uncertain. I prepared for medicine, ended up in engineering, chose a branch I barely understood, and discovered software engineering almost by accident.

As a parent and founder, I see how much pressure today's students and families face. GeniWay is my attempt to combine lived education experience, AI capability, and emotionally safe design to improve student outcomes.

What GeniWay and Clario are not
Responsible guidance also means being clear about our boundaries.
Clario does not reduce a student to one score or one fixed label.
No product can responsibly predict a child's destiny. Clario helps families compare better-fit directions and trade-offs.
Clario does not predict college allotments, cutoffs, admission success, quotas, or official counselling outcomes.
Clario is focused on stream-fit and decision clarity, not pushing students toward a coaching track.
Clario is designed to support clearer conversations. It does not replace school counsellors, teachers, official guidance, or human judgment.
Clario may discuss study pressure and decision stress in safe language, but it is not a clinical counselling or mental-health diagnosis service.
